Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Compass (the "Service"), operated by Mesa ("Mesa", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Compass is a contact and intelligence directory for the crypto industry. The Service allows registered users to search public information about companies and individuals ("Entities") and, for paid subscribers, to unlock private contact information using credits.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate information at signup, including a valid work email and employer name.

4. Subscriptions & Credits

Compass offers Starter, Pro, and Team paid subscriptions on monthly or annual billing. Each plan grants a monthly credit allowance (annual plans receive the first three months upfront, then a monthly drip thereafter). Credits are used to unlock private fields on individual contact records. Unused credits roll over up to one additional month of allowance.

Unlocks are permanent: once a contact is unlocked, you retain access to its private fields indefinitely, including after cancellation of your subscription. Spent credits are non-refundable. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond what the user interface provides; redistribute, resell, or sublicense data obtained from the Service; use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages; or attempt to access non-public areas of the Service. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Data & Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. The contact data displayed on Compass is sourced from publicly available information and direct contributions; if you believe a record about you should be corrected or removed, write to compass@mesa.so.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed. The Service is not investment advice. Crypto markets are volatile and information on the Service may be incomplete or out of date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mesa's aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; previously unlocked contacts remain accessible if your account is in good standing.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version. Material changes take effect 14 days after notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
